Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AppEcho — a unified inbox for App Store and Google Play reviews — at appecho.xyz and any associated services ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who we are

AppEcho is operated by the team behind appecho.xyz ("we", "us", "our"). Contact: hello@appecho.xyz.

2. The Service

AppEcho lets you connect Apple App Store and Google Play developer accounts, ingest public review data through the official store APIs, view reviews in a unified inbox, generate AI-assisted summaries, sentiment analysis, and reply suggestions, translate reviews, and post replies through the official store response APIs.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old.
You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe. One person, one account — don't share login.
You're responsible for all activity under your account, including any teammate you invite to your workspace.
You agree to give us accurate information and to update it when it changes.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service in a way that violates Apple's App Store Connect Agreement, Google Play's Developer Distribution Agreement, or any other third-party terms applicable to the data you process.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to discover the source code, models, or algorithms behind the Service.
Use the Service to spam, harass, defame, or post unlawful content in review responses.
Resell, sublicense, or operate the Service as a service to your own customers without a written agreement.
Attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan limits, or any security control.
Connect store credentials you don't own or aren't authorized to use.

5. Plans, billing, and refunds

Pricing is published at /pricing. Free, Pro, Team, and Enterprise tiers are available with monthly or annual billing.
Paid subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing → Manage billing.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Your workspace drops to the Free tier; data is retained within Free's limits.
Refunds: we don't issue prorated refunds for partial periods or unused annual time. If something is genuinely broken on our side, write to us and we'll make it right.
Plan limits (apps, replies, AI suggestions, translations, seats) are enforced per workspace and reset on the first of each calendar month (UTC).
Taxes, duties, and currency conversion fees are your responsibility unless otherwise stated.
We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice. Existing subscriptions stay at the prior price for the remainder of the paid period; new pricing applies at the next renewal.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to the data you bring into the Service — your reviews, replies, templates, app metadata, and store credentials. You grant us a limited license to process that content for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you (e.g. running an AI summary, posting your reply through the store API).

7. AI features

AI summaries, sentiment, themes, suggested replies, and translations are generated by third-party language models accessed via OpenRouter. Output is probabilistic and may be inaccurate, biased, or contain hallucinations. You're responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before you publish it to a customer-facing reply. We don't guarantee any particular quality or outcome.

8. Third-party stores

AppEcho integrates with Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store through their official APIs. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple or Google. Your use of those platforms remains governed by their respective developer terms. If a store revokes your credentials or removes content you posted, that's between you and the store; AppEcho is not a party to it.

9. Service availability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free performance. Scheduled maintenance, third-party API changes (Apple, Google, OpenRouter, Stripe), or force majeure may cause downtime.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is permanent.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or fail to pay. Where reasonable we'll give notice and a chance to remedy.
Sections that should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of AI outputs. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that any data ingested or generated is correct.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits — in those places they apply to the maximum extent permitted.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of (a) your misuse of the Service, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) content you post via the Service that infringes someone else's rights.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change we'll post the new version here with an updated date and provide reasonable advance notice — by email or an in-app notice — before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Germany, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.

16. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them (e.g. in a merger or sale of the business) with notice to you.
